he's an alien, or at least that his parents were, and he's happy to accompany
his wife to the abyss, an archaeological site out west associated with
aliens.

the most outrageous stories, and claimed their family were weird because they
were really aliens. In retirement, Stan believes it might even be true.

(Fantasy) At the end of the
revolution, Ao Laiei raised the war hero Uroie Aei from the dead, but then he
disappeared, and she's been seeking him ever since. A dream told her to wait
at a cafe, and while she waits, a bomb goes off.

(Historical Fantasy) In Eastern Europe
between the wars, Klara works as a kitchen maid. One night she admits a woman
she thinks is a lost fairy-tale princesses into the castle.

(Urban Fantasy; Sin du Jour) Ritter's
"Sin du Jour" comes to Wales to extract some Welsh gold from an
abandoned mine. Supposedly abandoned.

(SF/Mainstream) The crew of the new
Mars mission are coming to the hotel where Emily works, and her mom is
starting to say strange things about her involvement with the last Mars
mission.

recent war. Now they're going to finish their game.
