Analog and F&SF back issues can be accessed online through many public library websites. Back issues of Analog and Asimov's can be purchased through three eBookstores (currently not Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble). Back issues of F&SF can be borrowed through two Kindle services (Kindle Owners' Lending Library and Kindle Unlimited) or purchased through the Kindle Store and Weightless Books.

All three work on Android and iOS, but Magzter also works on a desktop or laptop through its web reader. Kobo has an e-ink device that's good for reading in sunlight. All three offer PDF formatting that works best on 10"+ tablets, but Newsstand also has a flowing text option that works well for sub-10" devices.

- What happened to F&SF back issues on Amazon?
Prior to Nov/Dec 2016, digital back issues were available for sale individually and as part of Kindle Unlimited and the Kindle Owners' Lending Library. Now, only the current issue and a subscription are available for sale on Amazon. Digital back issues starting with Nov/Dec 2016 and an annual subscription are available for sale on Weightless Books.

The Kindle apps for Windows and Mac do not support magazines. Weightless Books sells DRM-free EPUB issues for about $9 individually and $30/yr. - Should I read the magazine as PDF or flowing text?
