Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)
Pro: The gradual revelations about the Forged coupled with what we learn about Taura’s attitude towards Jelin and his family serve to increase the tension tremendously. We just know she’s going to do something stupid and get everyone killed, and all we can do is watch it happen.
Con: The story ends without resolution. One assumes that he killed her in the darkness, but we just don’t know.
Taura’s mother is a bit hard to believe.
