In the far future, near the end of the Universe, Titus and the 92 remaining intelligences cope with the discovery of something new.

Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Pro: Nice story with plenty of twists. Even the discovery that the Schen Ko's plan required all the other intelligences to join the battle made sense at the end. Titus's survival, at the cost of her friends, is a satisfying victory.

Con: The intelligences are too alien to identify with, so we're pleased with the victory, but not emotionally engaged.
