Pro: The story makes a strong case that it would really suck if everything in the world died.
Con: It’s awfully boring, and the science in it is pretty bad. Yes, climate change and ecological destruction are serious problems that need prompt action, but, no, the consequences of failing to act aren’t going to be anywhere close to what’s described here.
