Pro: The story is well-written and has a complete arc: Megan starts off desperate and without purpose, but ends ready to try to make a difference.
The out-of-control mold is a fascinating world destroyer. It was interesting enough that I read the first story of the three, "Spores," in The End is Nigh.
Con: There's no real action in the story. It just recaps what happened. Commander Handleman's harassment of Megan appears to serve no purpose. We certainly don't believe it contributed to Megan's decision to try to help. Although, given her limited role in Project Eden, it's hard to believe she'll be much help.
