In a future Tokyo, Shinsuke Takinami is an outcast because he can't use the augments that normal people use to communicate with each other--he has to talk.

Pro: The idea of someone unable or unwilling to use that sort of mind-connection software is a good one.

Con: The writer narrates almost everything. Such dialogue as there is is unnatural.  He tells us everything and shows us nothing.
