The issues included in each monthly rating have been retroactively changed to reflect actual magazine release dates.
Each month will always have the monthly magazines Apex, Clarkesworld, and Lightspeed, and every other month will have the bi-monthly magazine Fantasy & Science Fiction. Ten months will have Analog and Asimov's because there are only ten issues per year, but they are released together about every five weeks so the two months that are skipped are hard to predict.
The changes are retroactive because we had initially posted the monthly ratings assuming Analog and Asimov had monthly releases with a month skipped following double issues, but as explained above, they both release together about every five weeks with nothing skipped even following a double issue.
