Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Very evocative stream-of-consciousness narrative. Vasquez is losing her mind, and we're losing it with her. It's a surprise that things are rising on the major moons of the two big gas giants--even though we had plenty of hints. Nicely done.

The science is really terrible, though. Helium isn't even liquid on Jupiter, and metal falls as rain only at the very deepest levels. Still, it's not meant to be hard SF in any sense.
