Review: 2020.339 (A Word for Authors)
Pro: Titan really is covered with oceans of hydrocarbons.
Con: The interaction between Mark and Derrick was impossible to believe. People simply don’t do business that way.
The idea of importing hydrocarbons from Titan is utterly absurd. The delta-V from Saturn to Earth is 10.3 km/sec (never mind the cost of getting it off the surface of Titan and out of Saturn’s gravity well), and that takes two and a half times the energy contained in the oil in the first place.
