Review: 2020.277 (A Word for Authors)

Pro: The restaurant operates by taking awful memories from people who’ve experienced government persecution in the Philippines over the past half century and then feeding those to younger people who either haven’t experienced such things or have forgotten.

Con: It’s a political statement, not a story. There’s no plot, no action, and almost no characters. And it requires huge familiarity with Philippine history to even make sense out of it.
