Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Review: 2020.166 (A Word for Authors)

Pro: It nicely captures the creepy atmosphere of exploring the ruins of a modern city. Mila’s obsession with the vlog is a bit tiresome, but it defines her character.

The twist at the end is very well set up. The nominal story made sense—that they were doing this because of losing their earlier footage—but the actual story made much more sense. It even gave a reason why Mila seemed a little off.

Con: It goes on for quite a while with no real tension and no real action. The very last paragraph, when Mila contemplates suicide, is a little much.
