Review: 2020.121 (A Word for Authors)
Pro: This is a literary story about how Jobarto’s obsession with having yet another child threatens his relationship with Rebeka. They go back and forth, and eventually end up where they started, but with a better understanding of their relationship.
Con: Personally, I didn’t buy her arguments that this was about trust; it seemed pretty clear to me that she didn’t want to deal with a child again—ever—and she was just putting him off. However, immortals wanting to have multiple children is a recipe for disaster, so I didn’t feel supportive of him either.
