Review: 2020.105 (A Word for Authors)
Pro: This is the story of how Agnes the robot became Agnes the person. It’s focused on her efforts to understand what it means to be a person and how to choose to do the right thing.
Con: It makes zero sense for the government to have made a robot capable of full intelligence and then only use it to drive a truck back and forth. It also makes zero sense for a team of revolutionaries to elevate that truck to full intelligence knowing the new mind might not agree with their goals.
