Review: 2020.131 (A Word for Authors)
Pro: It’s a great caper story, with all kinds of tension while Ava tries to sneak out with the pulverizer. Plus there’s all sorts of tension afterwards when we wait for the other shoe to drop.
Narration and dialogue are spot on.
Con: But everything goes fine, and she gets away with it with zero consequences, which takes some of the edge off of it.
