Review: 2019.580 (A Word for Authors)

Pro: This seems to be set in an alternate universe where the Qing dynasty never fell and China ended up creating space habitats that are run more-or-less the way Qing provinces were run.

Con: The young magistrate is so indecisive that he’s not a very satisfactory protagonist. The story told in the interview is an interesting one, but it raises more questions than it answers, and the ending of the story is unsatisfying.
