Review: 2019.444 (A Word for Authors)

Pro: It’s a touching story because Amaya really has no one to share her gift with. Her family have moved away, and she’s all alone. Her friendship with the young girl, Sagal, gives her a chance to share her stories and her gift.

According to Wikipedia, the name “Amaya” might be derived from a Basque word meaning “the end.”

Con: The speculative element is incidental to the plot. If we turned it into knitting or something like that, the story would be unchanged.
