Review: 2019.480 (A Word for Authors)
Pro: I’ve seen a number of stories that involved a colony ship that planned on having robots raise the first generation of children, but I’ve not seen many that focused on how that might work out. In this story, it seems that few of the children made it to adolescence, and at least two of those don’t seem very enthusiastic about doing any colonizing.
Con: It looks pretty hopeless. They can’t even breathe the air here? And there’s only two of them? And their technology is all failing?
Also, I’d think regular trips outside would have been a regular part of their upbringing.
