Review: 2019.347 (A Word for Authors)
Pro: The science in the story seems to be pretty well researched. I particularly liked it that they sent an unmanned probe before sending a crewed ship.
Con: The story overwhelming consists of infodumps, one after another, intermixed with unnatural, as-you-know-Bob dialogue.
Up to the discovery of the alien cube on the surface of Planet Snowball, the story is aimless and dull. That’s just before the 50% mark.
