Review: 2019.282 (A Word for Authors)

Pro: This little piece challenges us to figure out what’s going on. At first, it seems like a fantasy piece. Then it seems a little gross to be eating what used to be pets. And then we realize the protagonist wants his catch in perfect condition. Our first clue is that he holds it like a baby.

Con: Why in the world would anyone go to this much trouble when they could just buy a dog?
