Review: 2019.259 (A Word for Authors)

Pro: The story does a good job of giving the perspective of a cheerful, young climate-change denier. Jake’s denial is so complete that evidence to the contrary doesn’t even bother him a little bit. Only the death of his coworker unsettles him, although, by the end of the story, we suspect he’s lost his mother as well.

Con: The political message is so strong that it makes the story less-than-pleasant to read.
