Review: 2019.211 (A Word for Authors)

Pro: The flashback sections and the main thread complement each other nicely, and we gradually figure out where Mars came from and what he’s really up to. Even so, the identity of the prisoner comes as a surprise.

The fight scenes are spectacular, and they even have some tension, despite Mars’s nigh invulnerability.

Con: It’s not clear how Mars figured out that he had a double who’d been captured. We know he didn’t think it possible after his “accident” with the fuel truck, so how did he know to be looking for it?
