Pro: The plot is simple and straight-forward: Ruby manages to gut through the pain and get enough figured out to give the mission guidance on how to save themselves.
As a teaser for the series, the most important thing it does it introduce us to Ruby and show us that she’s a character we’d like to see more of.
Con: There’s an old saying that NASA figured out how to make any space mission boring no matter how dangerous. This story suffers more than a little of that.
