Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Review: 2019.059 (A Word for Authors)

Pro: : The setting is certainly very colorful, and for all the death and destruction, First Wolf really just wanted the companionship of a pack.

Con: The language is complex and often nonsensical, making this an unpleasant read. The sheer volume of people murdered is staggering, and we’re not told enough about the Sun Lords (in this story) to know if they’re bad enough to be worth fighting at all.

First Wolf appears to get a happy ending, but he certainly doesn’t seem to deserve one.

  1. I definitely think Rustad has a lot of fun giving these stories the most dramatic, over-the-top style that they can.

    1. That's probably true. That doesn't make them fun for everyone else though. Of the four I've read, I thought two were okay.
