Review: 2019.049 (A Word for Authors)

Pro: On one level, Ionna and Niko need to find a way off the asteroid, on another, they need to unravel the riddle of Siphos, and finally Ionna needs to let go of her obsession with her dead father. Viewed in only those terms, the story is a success.

Ephyra is an ancient name for Corinth, Greece, which is indeed where Sisyphus in the myth came from.

Con: The whole thing is impossible to believe. A planetoid that holds a figure from mythology? And the crew members never seriously try to figure out what’s really going on there with it's gravity and atmosphere? And even though they crashed, when they're ready to go they just leave?
