Pro: The astronomy is the story is pretty accurate. I can quibble with a few points, but most of it is solid.

Con: The mix of science and fantasy really put me off. I’m much more comfortable with a story where (for example) werewolves are real but only a few people know about it than I am with one where astrology is real.
