Review: 2018.669 (A Word for Authors)

Pro: The best part of the story is the descriptions of Alice’s unique experiences in 1788. Not only is she a black lesbian in a time that isn’t very kind to either one, she’s secretly a highwayman, with help from her lover who’s skilled at making automata.

Prudence’s experiences are interesting too, particularly as it gradually becomes clear that she proposes to end the Time War with a bang.

Con: The biggest problem with the story is that it’s incomplete.

It’s hard to believe that Prudence’s plan can work. If it were that easy, someone would have already tried it.
