Review: 2018.481 (A Word for Authors)
Pro: It does a good job of describing what life under socialism was like in Russia (even though it’s set in California).
Con: It isn’t very much fun reading about what life under socialism in Russia was like. Being powerless means your situation is hopeless, and reading about the suffering of people in a hopeless situation is depressing.
