Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)
Review: 2018.487 (A Word for Authors)
Pro: It’s amusing to watch the way Javier tries to cope with it. First wanting to abort it. Then wanting money to bring it to term. Attending a support group. Etc.
The scientific “explanation” for his condition isn’t too bad if you don’t think about it too much.
Con: It takes a turn from SF to horror when the thing inside him turns out not to be a baby after all. The ending, where part of the baby sticks out of him, is so surreal one wonders if Javier has simply lost his mind.
