Review: 2018.308 (A Word for Authors)
Pro: Not only do they put a stop to the beetle theft, they rescue three children from the wastes (plus one adult who doesn’t want to be rescued). Happy ending for almost everyone involved.
The writing is flawless. Plot, narration, and dialogue all are spot on.
Con: Not much really happens here. Although the plot is technically complete, it feels like the setup for a longer work. Or maybe that’s just wishful thinking . . .
