Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Pro: Adesina not only rescues her friend, she take a big step toward adulthood and even makes progress in helping her mom recover from her trauma.

Con: The story is littered with infodumps, and it starts with a gigantic one. Even after that the narration and dialogue are awkward. And the Werewolves are cardboard villains whose superpower seems to be the ability to annoy people.
