Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Pro: Tomas is the narrator, but Elseir is the real protagonist, and this is the tale of how she lifted the curse on her family by releasing the darkness. Part of the horror is that Tomas is a willing sacrifice.

Con: Elseir doesn’t indicate that there’s any more of her family around than just her. Exactly whom is she saving?

Tomas is a total wimp.
