Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)
Pro: Mara gets her wish; they admit her to the Newbody zone.
The story does a great job of showing us just how empty Mara’s life is and how shallow her relations are with her roommates.
It also does a nice job of gradually letting us know what Newbodies are all about without ever giving us an infodump.
Con: It’s not clear why the Newbody agrees to let her into the compound. If suicidal tendencies are a no-no, why would that revelation make a positive difference?
