Pro: The setup is pretty funny, and the surreal moment when the manager of the restaurant is a llama is almost worth the price of admission.
Con: It doesn’t add up in the end. The animals were scientists? The llama ate a goat?

Given the constraints of the contest for which this was written (finished within an hour and from a surprise prompt), it's not bad and pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteI know, but I try to rate stories without regard to context. That is, from the reader's perspective, not the writer's.
DeleteOh, I don't disagree with the rating. You have to look at what's there, not what it potentially could have been. I can see how this was a winner under those conditions though.
