Pro: The story has all the flavor of a noir detective story but with Hitler as detective.

Con: There’s no good resolution, and Hitler makes a poor protagonist because he doesn’t really uncover anything.

  1. It makes sense that Hitler is a pitiful protagonist since the story is being dreamed up as a sort of revenge fantasy by the man in the ghetto.

    I see this is a prequel to Tidhar's A Man Lies Dreaming novel.
