Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Pro: Magda wants to minister to the monsters even before she learns they're other people--probably other sleepers like her. At the end, she has found a way to do so without anyone--including her--being aware of their existence.

Katry simply wants to protect her sister, and she finally finds a way to do it that involves Magda and yet keeps Magda from knowing about it.

Con: The townspeople know Magda, they like Magda, and yet the instantly reject her when the monsters turn up. Not a single one takes her part. That's really hard to believe unless they had some other reason not to like her.

  1. I liked most of the story, but found the ending unsatisfying.
