Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Pro: Gable misses her mother and wants her back. At the end, we think she's accomplished that, by sacrificing Sisi and taking her unborn child, infusing it with her mother's spirit.

Con: Gable is an awful person who hurts other people just because she can. Sisi may have been a foolish person, but she didn't deserve to die that way. There's no feeling of justice done or injustice corrected nor of any special price paid.

  1. Not sure what to make of this one. Gable and her mother are suppose to be spiritual guides for their community. Yet they seem to be all about themselves.
