Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)
Review: 2017.068 (A Word for Authors)
Pro: Pro: The descriptions of how Opal goes about her job, dealing with subordinates who may be asking for too much to ineffectual management seem spot on. Her unexpected promotion seems well-deserved.
She gets everything she wanted, but, apparently because of the threat of attack, she no longer wants any of it.
Con: The story ends just as it was starting to get interesting.
