Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

The premise (that meat could become intelligent based on how it's seared) is too absurd to accept, and the story takes way too long to get there.

The story is riddled with elementary grammar errors.

There’s no plot to speak of—Lilian isn’t really trying to accomplish anything. The author has simply strung a few ideas together.

  1. Yes, suspenders of disbelief snapped! Not just because blobs of meat are zapped to life. We also have a financially strapped mother traveling to the other side of the world and staging an elaborate production about how remorseful she is about it.
