Pro: Despite everything, it does seem that Eva got what she came for. She’s no longer obsessed with killing herself, and it only cost her a week—unlike the decades Marcus spent.
It feels like there’s a deeper message here, but I can’t put my finger on what that might be. The experience of depression? The feeling of having slept through life?
Con: The story takes a long time to get going, and the early part is badly overwritten.

Hmm, today must be my day for reading stories about suicidal women. This one was more hopeful though. At the end of the podcast, narrator Anaea Lay mentioned that she thought it was about the experience of getting mental health treatment.
