Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Pro: The plot of the story is that Beadith wants to escape from the island and bring Kiniod to justice. In the end, she does escape, and she learns that justice is more complicated than she had thought.

I liked the idea of using virtual copies of people to show them what they’re actually capable of under the right circumstances.

Con: Beadith is an unlikable protagonist, and she stays that way through the whole story. Kiniod is pretty pathetic for the whole story, so we're left with no one to root for.

The time-travel angle is introduced very late in the story and doesn’t come off very well.

  1. I think I liked the concept significantly more than the execution on this one.

  2. The moss is like an exercise in extreme navel gazing.
