Pro: The mission is a success, thanks to Baldemar’s cleverness and hard work. Narration and dialogue are pitch-perfect.
Con: One he acquires the helmet, he becomes a passive figure, and the demon is in charge. This feels very much like a fragment of a longer tale, not a stand-alone story.

Nice to see another Baldemar story, and the cameo from Raffalon was fun. Obviously one in a ongoing series though...leaves you wondering what's next.
