Pro: The symptoms are interesting in their own right, as is the idea that the disease is a form of euthanasia the aliens considered especially humane.
Con: Not much story here. Everyone dies. They don't even try very hard. There's no real development of any of the characters, so we don’t feel crushed that they’re dying.
