Pro: The basic idea is pretty cool, and the more we learn about Martin and his work, the more we’re interested in finding out what he’s really up to. The buildup is great.

Con: There's no payoff. The story ends abruptly, and the conclusion is just narrated.

  1. I feel this one needed more work. So if Martin was Vulcan, were his wife and her lover Venus and Mars?
