Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)
Pro: The story is filled with tension, especially when she steals the baby and we’re hoping against hope she won’t really sacrifice it.
The conclusion that this is how the carrot propagates itself is suitably creepy. And, as promised, she does get to be with her parents again.
Con: Why didn’t she ever ask for help from Farmers Seless and Shyn? Why didn’t they ever check on her family?

Yikes! Starts out kinda funny with a grumpy carrot wanting rabbit. But you know this deal can't turn out well. Any idea about the old man who tripped her up at the Farmers' house?
ReplyDeleteNot a clue. A lot of stories have what I call "loose ends." These seem to be ideas the author had that never got integrated into the story but never got edited out either. That might be one.
