Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)
Pro: The account of how he’s haunted by the ghosts of all the people he killed is chilling. He deliberately gives his student the wrong instructions, and turn him into a bomb that destroys him and the revolutionaries too.
Con: The stream-of-consciousness narration is tedious and tiresome. Both sides in this conflict sound pretty bad, so there’s no one to root for.
It seems like a pretty obvious allegory for the 9/11 attacks on the US.
