Pro: The real story here is Cole’s journey to accepting responsibility for his crimes. It’s a cute touch that Marco doesn’t exist. Either he was the voice of an angel or else Cole landed in a different reality from the one he started in.

Con: If we view his dreams as nothing but dreams, then there is no speculative element in the story at all.

  1. This was an interesting set of vignettes but wasn't very substantial.

  2. Agree with Mark. One question I was left with was what does it mean that his third victim is still his "current victim" even though he's apparently in prison and about to be judged.
