Pro: Irtholin comes knowing what she wants, she gets it and leaves. Anketil doesn’t get the peace she needs, and she loses a friend, but in either case, the plot is complete.
Con: The story is somewhat dissatisfying. It seems that the bad guys won.
One wonders why the AIs needed Anketil at all, given how powerful they’re portrayed as being.
