Pro: The document gradually reveals the story of what has really happened between humans and Wergens. Their unnatural desire to be around us--at the level of an addiction--obviously hurts them a lot, but, coupled with our loathing of their smell, appearance, and behavior, it hurts us too.
Con: One wonders why the Wergens haven't pulled all their people out of the solar system.
It's a bit sad that we're exploiting this weakness so shamelessly.
