Pro: The queen does solve the mystery, not that it does her any good. We knew about the birds mutating. We even knew a giant one had been seen recently.
Part of the fun of this story is the names. "Nonchalant" is an English word, of course, but it's used in the original Spanish. Lazarus a man in the Bible who is raised from the dead, hinting that the king might come back. Estigia means "Styx" in Spanish, the goddess who lives in the river in Hell.
Con: She and the King both seem to be giving up a little too easily.
